Chapters

WIIS-Canada Chapters are local groupings of WIIS-Canada members. A Chapter’s purpose is to connect and engage members with local educational and professional opportunities, while representing and voicing their regional interests, views and issues at the national level. Chapters can be connected to a university campus, or can be community based.

WIIS-Canada Chapters

Currently, WIIS-Canada is proud to support the following university Chapters across Canada (from West to East):

University of Alberta (wiisalberta@wiiscanada.org)

Carleton University (wiiscarleton@wiiscanada.org)

Queen’s University  (wiisqueens@wiiscanada.org)

Université de Montréal  (wiisudm@wiiscanada.org)

McGill University  (wiismcgill@wiiscanada.org)

City of Toronto (wiistoronto@wiiscanada.org)

If you are in a region close to one of these Chapters, feel free to be in contact with them, or to “like” their Facebook pages, so you can see what they are up to and how you might get involved.

For those of you who are keen to establish your own community-based or university-based chapter, please register your local chapter here. There is an application process, before we approve the establishment of a WIIS-Canada Chapter.
